Danish Lipid Research Society: Kick-off symposium
Organizers: Nils J. Færgeman, Christer Ejsing, Daniel Wüstner, Danish Lipid Research Society in cooperation with Danish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Danish Biotechnology Society.
The symposium marks the founding of a new scientific society in Denmark: "Danish Society for Lipid Research”. Three scientists at Lipid Research Group at Department of Molecular Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark: Christer Ejsing, Nils Færgeman and Daniel Wüstner have taken the initiative. The goal is to create a network among researchers in basic and applied lipid research at academic organisations and industrial companies in Denmark. Members of the society may share their expertise on scientific as well as analytical issues in research on lipids. Furthermore, the Danish Society for Lipid Research may accelerate the internalization of this research area in Denmark. Formation of the societys homepage is in progress: http://www.danish-lipid.org/. The Kick-off symposium invites all lipid-oriented researchers and others interested to participate.
