Internet of Things – Peer-2-Peer Connect to Resource Limited Devices
See and learn how to program and use the Nabto P2P-IOT platform. Nabto offers a solution enabling users to access resource limited devices behind a firewall.
The patented technology provides secure, encrypted communication to devices through firewalls, no matter where they are and how they are connected to the Internet.
Basically, we use the same technology as Skype via the browser to connect the user and the Internet connected device, meaning that the user will never have to struggle with complex network configurations. Further the technology is very simple and resource efficient on the device so our technology can fit into even the smallest embedded designs making sure your device hardware stays simple and cost-efficient. Our vision is to connect all things on the Internet – simple and safe. Nabto dramatically enhances and widens the applicability of P2P technology, setting a new paradigm for easy and hassle free set-up, easy connection and secure data transfer between Internet connected devices.
The presentation will walk you through the technology covering subjects as:
- The P2P technology of Nabto - how to easily access your device from smartphones, tablets and PC's
- HTML device driver and Nabto plugin/APP technology
- The Nabduino board walkthrough and examples - LED control, temperature and user-input
- Programming and flashing via internet
You will at the event be able to buy the Nabduino-board used in the presentation and examples at a price of 200,- kr. This will enable you to do your own IOT prototype at home afterwards. The baseboard is a compatible with Arduino shields.
