Offshore Wind – An impressive industry with a growing importance for The Maritime Denmark

This industry has grown considerably in the past decades and Denmark hosts a number of leading companies. The rapid development of maritime activities around this booming industry has pushed the formulation of new standards and regulations.

This industry has grown considerably in the past decades and Denmark hosts a number of leading companies representing Designers and Builders of specialized vessels, Owners and Operators of crew transfer vessels (CTVs) and installation / construction vessels and other stakeholders. The rapid development of maritime activities around this booming industry has pushed the formulation of new standards and regulations and the Authorities, Classification Societies and the Duty holders have endeavored to address the needs of this new industry.
Different stakeholder will explain about what has been achieved and the challenges ahead.
