The Magic Silicones
Silicone elastomers are ubiquitous in developed societies, with applications ranging from implantable biomaterials to simple sealants.
Professor Michael A. Brook, McMaster University, will discuss the ability to control interfaces with silicones with examples from biomedical devices and microfluidic.
Continuing on these lines Dr. Ingrid Graz, J Kepler University, will elucidate stretchable electronics and soft robotics, and present some of her group's work on energy harvesting.
The abstracts can be found on our webpage http://www.dpc.kt.dtu.dk look under Seminars.
The event is in collaboration with DTU.
