For at internet-of-Things skal bliv en succes, skal der skabes en fælles forståelse for hvordan det skal konstrueres, og hvordan de mange data typer og kilder kan hjælpe til en fælles virtualisering af vores verden.

Der er mange hundrede standarder og teknologier der ser dagens lys i disse år, og mange vil snart forsvinde igen, men hvordan undgår man at vælge de forkerte? Ved at have indblik i hvilke generelle snitflader der designes ind i systemerne, hvordan man kan udskifte de forskellige moduler til forskellige applikationer og stadig levere data til det samme back-bone system.

Ved at have forståelse for hvor teknologien er på vej hen, vil man som udvikler lettere kunne tage springet og gå i gang med den første teknologi og derved opbygge de kompetencer som gør det meget lettere at implementere den næste.

Anders P. Mynster, seniorkonsulent hos Delta

Anders Mynster received his master of science in electrical engineering with specialization in wireless engineering from the Danish technical university in 2010 and is currently employed in DELTA - Danish electronics, lights, and acoustics.

He is primarily working with antennas, radio-wave propagation, and short-range technologies such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi, and RFID. His main focus is to implement wireless functionality into existing electronic products and ensure correct functionality of the implemented services.

He has been involved in many projects for the healthcare industry, both hospital and telehealth applications, but also in industrial and infrastructure applications. He possesses a strong knowledge on electromagnetic compatibility and is one of the regular Danish delegates in the TC210 group in CENELEC, which coordinates the EMC standardization activities in product committees. He is also the chair of the IEEE European public policy initiative and member of the standarisation political forum at Danish Standards.

It is a key focus for Anders to connect theoretical studies with practical measurement results and the needs of today's real-world high technology products, such that they can help solve the challenges society is facing.
