Security in the cloud – For connected devices
Stiofán ÓFlannabhra, Intel Security. Everybody is concerned about security when connecting their embedded systems to the cloud.
With the rising volume and complexity of attacks, security practitioners must evolve their approach to protect vital services and information from theft, manipulation, and loss from external and internal actors. Furthermore, there are relatively few cybersecurity experts who are adept at recognizing and chasing down subtle attacks. To address more threats faster with limited resources, organizations increasingly require better, more mainstream identification and analytic tools integrated with relevant correction to quickly investigate and restore their environments to a known good state.
