How do you make people listen to you? How do you make your research compelling to others? How do you make sure that what you say is understood – and remembered? In this session you will get tips, tricks and tools to make better science communication. We will among others work with body language, how to incorporate passion in your communication, the use of props and metaphors in performance and how to make good starts and endings. During the session there will be various exercises for you to train the above elements.
So in short; After this module you will hopefully be loaded with ideas on how to perform in an inspiring and memorable way – be it in the media, in front of a big audience or in front of a panel of employers.

The session is run by Line Friis Frederiksen who is a Danish biologist, tv-presenter and skilled communication teacher. She has for 8 years worked for the Danish broadcast cooperation, DR, producing and presenting science tv and radio.
